EGR Pipe Removal/Installation: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Drain the engine coolant. (Refer to ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
Remove the EGR cooler. (Refer to EGR COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the air cleaner. (Refer to INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the bolts shown in the figure and set the water pipe aside.

Remove in the order indicated in the table.
