ECT Sensor No. 2 (U.S.A. and CANADA)

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Drain the engine coolant. (Refer to ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
  3. Remove the plug hole plate. (Refer to PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Disconnect the ECT sensor No. 2 connector.
  5. Remove the ECT sensor No. 2 using the SST  .

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  7. Refill the engine coolant. (Refer to ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
