Rear Lateral Link Removal/Installation: Notes

  1. Remove the wheel and tire. (Refer to WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Disconnect the rear stabilizer control link from the rear lower arm.

  3. Remove the protector. (Refer to PROTECTOR INSTALLATION NOTE .)

  4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal. (Refer to SUSPENSION LINKS INSTALLATION NOTE .)
  6. When replacing the rear lateral link, inspect the wheel alignment and adjust it if necessary. (Refer to REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT .)
