Keyless Receiver Inspection: Notes

  1. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear scuff plate (RH) (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Rear side seat back (RH) (See REAR SIDE SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Tire house trim (RH) (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. C-pillar trim (RH) (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Remove the keyless receiver with the connector still connected. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).
    • If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s) and related wiring harnesses.
      • If the system does not operate normally even though the parts under Inspection Item(s) and related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver.
