Back-Up Light Switch Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the air cleaner, air hose and fresh air duct as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

    COMPONENT DESCRIPTION

    1 Connector
    2 Back-up light switch
    3 Gasket
  4. Install in the order indicated in the table.

    COMPONENT DESCRIPTION

    1 Gasket
    2 Back-up light switch
    3 Connector
  5. Install the air cleaner component (air cleaner, air hose). (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
