Tweeter Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the tweeter. (See TWEETER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
CAUTION:
- Because the tweeter is built into the condenser, if the tester does not contact the measurement area shown in the figure, the correct resistance cannot be measured.
Inspect the resistance between tweeter terminal A and the measurement area shown in the figure.
Tweeter resistance

Without Bose®: 3.4-4.6 ohms

With Bose®: approx. 3.6 ohms

- If not within the specification, replace the tweeter. (See TWEETER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
