Steering Switch Removal/Installation

WARNING:
  1. Switch the ignition off.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)

  4. Grasp the shaded areas shown in the figure, and pull the steering switch in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), (2) while detaching the tabs A and tabs B.

  5. Insert the tape-wrapped flat head screwdriver into the position shown in the figure, while pressing the clip tabs in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the clips in the direction of the arrow (2) to detach the clip tabs from the steering wheel.

  6. Disconnect the steering switch connectors.
  7. Remove the steering switch.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
