Engine Front Cover Removal Note

  1. Remove the nut shown in the figure below and set the cooler hose (LO) aside.

  2. Disconnect the A/F sensor connector and clip shown in the figure below

  3. Remove the insulator shown in the figure below.

  4. Remove the wiring harness clip shown in the figure below.

  5. Remove the bolts and set the wiring harness bracket shown in the figure below aside.

  6. Remove the engine front cover installation bolts.
  7. Using a screwdriver wrapped in a cloth, peel the silicone sealant away a little at a time, and remove the engine front cover.
    CAUTION:
    • Do not apply excessive force to the screwdriver. Otherwise, the engine front cover could be damaged.
    • Be careful not to scratch or damage the seal surface. Otherwise, it could cause oil leakage.
