Electric Parking Brake Control Module Removal/Installation

NOTE:
  • The electric parking brake control module records the vehicle specification information and the electric parking brake operation/release condition.
  • A new electric parking brake control module has not record of the vehicle specification information and the electric parking brake operation/release condition.
  • When the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on) after replacing the electric parking brake control module, the module reads and records the vehicle specification information sent via CAN communication from the instrument cluster.
  • When the electric parking brake is operated/released after replacing the electric parking brake control module, the module checks the related parts and records the electric parking brake operation/release condition.
