Replacing Combiner

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:

    (1) Meter Hood (See METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (2) Upper column cover (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (3) Instrument cluster (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (4) Active driving display (See Replacing active driving display as single component .)

  3. Lift up the cover hook in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, move it in the direction of arrow (2), and detach the cover hooks from the active driving display.

  4. Lift up the cover hook in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, move it in the direction of arrow (2), and detach the cover hooks from the active driving display.

  5. Remove the screws.

  6. Remove the bracket.

  7. Remove the combiner.

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
