EGR Pipe Removal/Installation: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Drain the engine coolant. (See Engine Coolant Replacement .)
Remove the EGR cooler. (See EGR Cooler Removal/Installation .)
Remove the air cleaner. (See Intake-Air System Removal/Installation .)
Remove the bolts shown in the figure and set the water pipe aside.

Remove in the order indicated in the table.
