Rear Housing Removal Note

  1. Remove the battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Disconnect the turbocharger air outlet pipe from the dynamic pressure turbo. (See Intake-Air System Removal/Installation .)
  3. Remove the vacuum pump. (See VACUUM PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the exhaust CMP sensor. (See Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Removal/Installation .)
  5. Remove the ECT sensor No. 1. (See Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Removal/Installation .)
  6. Remove the rear housing.
