EGR Temperature Sensor Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect the EGR temperature sensor connector.

  4. Remove the clip.

  5. Remove the EGR temperature sensor using a commercially-available crowfoot wrench.

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
