ECT sensor No. 2

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the front under cover No. 1. (See FRONT UNDER COVER NO. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Disconnect the water hose.

  5. Disconnect the charge air cooler outlet hose (intake shutter valve side). (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Disconnect the ECT sensor No. 2 connector.

  7. Remove the bolt.
  8. Remove the clip.
  9. Remove the water pipe and ECT sensor No. 2 as a single unit.

  10. Remove the ECT sensor No. 2.
  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
