PID/DATA Monitor Inspection

Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
Start the engine.
Access the following PIDs using the M-MDS. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST .)
- ICP1 (fuel pressure sensor (built into fuel injector No. 1))
- ICP2 (fuel pressure sensor (built into fuel injector No. 2))
- ICP3 (fuel pressure sensor (built into fuel injector No. 3))
- ICP4 (fuel pressure sensor (built into fuel injector No. 4))
When increasing the engine speed, verify that the PID values for ICP1/ICP2/ICP3/ICP4 change as shown in the figure.
- If the PID values do not change, replace the applicable fuel injector. (See FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
