Third-Row Seat Back Trim Removal/Installation: Notes

CAUTION:
  • Be careful not to damage the ring C when removing/installing it. If a damaged ring C is used, it could result in improper installation of the third-row seat back board.
  • If the ring C is damaged, replace the ring C with a new one.
  1. Remove the third-row seat cushion. (See THIRD-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Move hooks A in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach them from hooks B.

  3. Unzip the zippers.
  4. While pressing the top tether anchor cover tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the top tether anchor cover in the direction of arrow (2) and remove it.

  5. Remove the cover and then remove the screw.

  6. Remove the C-rings.

  7. Remove the third-row seat back board.
  8. Remove the C-rings.

  9. Lift up the third-row seat back trim and third-row seat back pad as a single unit and remove it from the third-row seat back frame.

  10. Remove the C-rings shown in the figure, and remove the third-row seat back trim from the third-row seat back pad.

  11. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See THIRD-ROW SEAT BACK TRIM INSTALLATION NOTE .)
