Back-Up Light Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Lift up the vehicle.
Remove the bolts.

Remove the member bracket.
Disconnect the connector.

Verify that the continuity between the back-up light switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

- If not as indicated in the table, replace the back-up light switch. (See BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [M66M-D] .)
