Liftgate Latch Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
Remove the liftgate latch and lock actuator. (See LIFTGATE LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

- If not as indicated in the table, replace the liftgate opener switch. (See LIFTGATE LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
NOTE:
- Press in the latch lever of the liftgate latch and lock actuator using a flathead screwdriver, and set it to the latched condition.
