Shift Panel Removal/Installation: ATX

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
Remove the selector lever knob. (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Move the shift panel in the order of arrows (1), (2), and (3) shown in the figure, and detach the clips.

Disconnect the connector.

Disconnect the connectors.

Remove the shift panel.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
- When replacing the shift panel, remove the following parts:
- Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Commander switch (See COMMANDER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Electric parking brake switch (See ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Drive selection switch (with drive selection switch) (See DRIVE SELECTION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
