Extractor Chamber Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Rear splash shield (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk side pocket (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- While pressing the extractor chamber clips in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure below, move the extractor chamber in the direction of arrow (2) and detach the extractor chamber from the body.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
