Driver's Side

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Cover the shaded area shown in the figure with a cloth.

    CAUTION:
    • Always cover with a cloth to perform the procedure when detaching the tweeter tabs from the dashboard. Otherwise, the tweeter could dislodge and the tweeter or dashboard could be damaged.
  3. While pressing the tweeter tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure from the inside of the dashboard, press out the tweeter in the direction of arrow (2) and detach the tweeter tab from the dashboard.

  4. While pressing the tweeter tab in the direction of arrow (3) shown in the figure from the inside of the dashboard, press out the tweeter in the direction of arrow (4) and detach the tweeter tab from the dashboard.
  5. Disconnect the connector.

  6. Remove the tweeter.
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
