Liftgate Side Trim Removal/Installation: Installation

  1. Align the fastener and the hook of the liftgate side trim, press the liftgate side trim in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure, and install the clip to the liftgate.

  2. Press the liftgate side trim in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and install the hook and the tab to the liftgate lower trim.

  3. Press the liftgate side trim in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and install the tab to the liftgate lower trim.

  4. Install the fastener.
  5. Install the strap hanger.

  6. Press in area A of the strap hanger.
  7. Move the hook in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and install the hook to the strap hanger.

  8. Install the liftgate upper trim. (Refer to LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
