Liftgate Opener Switch Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the service hole cover.

  3. Disconnect the connector.

  4. While pressing the liftgate opener switch tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, press it in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the liftgate opener switch tab from the liftgate.

  5. Remove the liftgate opener switch from the liftgate.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
