Blower Unit Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Passenger-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Passenger-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Center panel (See CENTER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Dashboard under cover (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Passenger-side lower panel (See PASSENGER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect the blower motor connector.

  4. Disconnect the air intake actuator connector. (with air intake actuator)
  5. Press the tab and disconnect the air intake wire from the link, and then remove the air intake wire from the clamp. (with air intake wire)
  6. Remove the instrument panel harness clips.
  7. Remove the nuts.

  8. Remove the blower unit.
  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
