Rear Differential Component Installation Note

  1. Insert the rear drive shaft into the rear differential while raising the rear differential gradually.

    CAUTION:
    • When raising the rear differential component, be careful not to damage the rear differential oil seal, rear drive shaft, and surrounding parts.
  2. Lightly tap the step of the rear drive shaft using a brass bar and hammer, and install the rear drive shaft to the rear differential.

  3. Temporarily tighten the rear differential installation bolts, stud bolt, washer and nut.
  4. Remove the transmission jack.
  5. Shake the rear differential forward and back/left and right to improve the installation fit of the rear differential.
  6. Tighten the rear differential installation bolts, stud bolt and nut completely.
