Upper Panel Removal/Installation

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
Open the console lid.
Move the upper panel component in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and detach the clips, hooks, and guides.

Insert a hand at the back of the upper panel and detach the clip at the position shown in the illustration, and remove the upper panel from the console-up.

When removing the console-up, perform the following procedure:

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the console-up.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
