Drive learning procedure
- Drive the vehicle under the following condition and operate shift up from 2nd to 3rd gear 4 times.
- Engine warmed up completely
- ATF temperature: 60-110 °C {140-230 °F}
- Accelerator pedal opening angle: Middle opening angle*1 or more
*1: Middle opening angle indicates 40-60 %.
- Verify the shift shock when shift up is operated from 2nd to 3rd gear.
- If the shift shock is the same on a model of the same type, end the drive learning.
- If the shift shock is more than on a model of the same type, perform the drive learning again.
- If the shift shock is more than on a model of the same type even if drive learning is repeated, repair the malfunctioning location following the applicable symptom troubleshooting procedure. (See SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING ITEM TABLE .)
