Front Parking Sensor Buzzer Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Driver-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Driver-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Lower decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Partially peel back the seaming welt.

  4. Remove the bolt.

  5. Pull the driver-side lower panel in the order of arrows (1), (2), (3), and (4) shown in the figure, and remove it while detaching the clips, hook, tab, and guide.

  6. Set the driver-side lower panel aside.
  7. Disconnect the connector.

  8. While pressing the front parking sensor buzzer tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the front parking sensor buzzer in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the front parking sensor buzzer tabs from the driver-side lower panel.

  9. Remove the front parking sensor buzzer.
  10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
