Solar Radiation Sensor Inspection (Auto A/C)

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the center speaker grille. (See SPEAKER GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (AUTO A/C) .)
Shine a fluorescent light or expose the solar radiation sensor to natural sunlight.
Connect the positive (+) lead to terminals A and negative (-) lead to terminal B, C of the solar radiation sensor, and verify that the voltage value is output.

If the voltage is 0 V, replace the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (AUTO A/C) .)
