Center Display Removal/Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Center panel (See CENTER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the bolt.

  4. Remove the screws.
    NOTE:
    • When removing the center display, the center display could interfere with the climate control unit and scratch the climate control unit. Perform the servicing by spreading a cloth in the position indicated in the figure.

  5. Hold the center display in the position shown in the figure and pull it outward to disengage clips A, B, C, and D from the instrument panel.

  6. Disconnect the connectors.

  7. Remove the center display component.
  8. Remove the screws.

  9. Cut the bands shown in the figure.

  10. Disconnect the connectors.

  11. Remove the center display.
