Lower Panel Removal/Installation: Passenger-Side: Installation

  1. Install hooks C, clips D, and pins E while pressing the shaded area shown in the figure for the passenger-side lower panel in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), (2), and (3).

  2. Install screws B.
  3. Install bolts A, and then install the passenger-side lower panel.

  4. Install the following parts:
    1. Dashboard under cover (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Passenger-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Passenger-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  6. After installing the passenger-side lower panel and glove compartment, measure the clearance, and verify that the measurement value is within the specification shown in the figure.
