Lower Panel Removal/Installation: Passenger-Side: Installation

- Install hooks C, clips D, and pins E while pressing the shaded area shown in the figure for the passenger-side lower panel in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), (2), and (3).
- Install screws B.
- Install bolts A, and then install the passenger-side lower panel.
- Install the following parts:
- Dashboard under cover (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- After installing the passenger-side lower panel and glove compartment, measure the clearance, and verify that the measurement value is within the specification shown in the figure.
- If the measurement value is not within the specification after measuring the clearance between the passenger-side lower panel and glove compartment, adjust the passenger-side lower panel to the proper position. (See PASSENGER-SIDE LOWER PANEL ADJUSTMENT .)
