Blower Unit Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Passenger-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Dashboard under cover (See DASHBOARD UNDERCOVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side lower panel (See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side front heat duct (See FRONT HEAT DUCT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the blower motor connector.
- Disconnect the air intake actuator connector.
- Remove the blower unit installation nuts.
- Pass the blower unit projection between the brackets shown in the figure (1) and rotate the blower unit (2).
- Pull out the blower unit in the direction of the arrow (3).
- Remove the blower unit.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
