Propeller Shaft Removal/Installation: Notes

CAUTION:
- If the constant velocity joint is bent during propeller shaft removal/installation or transportation after servicing, the constant velocity joint boot may contact the metallic cover and the boot may be damaged. Insert a rag between the boot and the metallic cover before servicing to protect the boot
- Remove the floor under cover. (See FLOOR UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the center under cover. (See CENTER UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the insulator (exhaust system). (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the tunnel member. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the brace bar. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the figure.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Perform a road test and verify that there is no abnormal vibration or noise.COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
