Lift Motor Inspection

WARNING:

Handling a front seat equipped with a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the workshop service information before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated). Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the front sear side cover. (front door side) (See FRONT SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the lift motor connector.
Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to lift motor terminals A and B, and then inspect the lift motor operation.

- If the lift motor does not operate as indicated in the table, replace the front seat cushion frame/adjuster unit. (See FRONT SEAT CUSHION FRAME/ADJUSTER UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
