Rear Wiper Motor Removal/Installation: Notes

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Rear wiper arm and blade (See REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Liftgate upper trim (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Liftgate side trim (See LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Liftgate recess (See LIFTGATE RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Liftgate lower trim (See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the bolts in the order of (1), (2), and (3). (See REAR WIPER MOTOR INSTALLATION NOTE .)
- Pull out the rear wiper motor pin from the outer bushing and remove the rear wiper motor.
- Press in the outer bushing from the outside of the liftgate.
- Pull the outer bushing from the inside of the liftgate and remove it.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
