Spark Plug Removal/Installation

CAUTION:
- If a spark plug that is not as specified is installed, engine performance will be deteriorated. Install only the specified spark plug when replacing.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the seal cover. (See SEAL COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the front suspension tower bar (joint). (With front suspension tower bar) (See FRONT SUSPENSION TOWER BAR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the ignition coils/ion sensors. (See IGNITION COIL/ION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the spark plugs using a plug-wrench.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque
- 15-20 N.m {1.6-2.0 kgf.m, 12-14 ft.lbf}
