Blower Fan Controller Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Passenger-side scuff plate (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side A-pillar trim (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side lower panel (See PASSENGER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the screw.
- Remove the side duct.
- Remove the duct.
- Remove the auto leveling control module. (Without adaptive front lighting system (AFS)) (See AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module. (With adaptive front lighting system (AFS)) (See ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS) CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the connectors.
- Disconnect the connector.
- While pressing tab A of the blower fan controller in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, lift the blower fan controller to detach tab A of the blower fan controller from the A/C unit.
- Lift the blower fan controller and detach tabs B, C, D and E of the blower fan controller from the A/C unit.
- Remove the blower fan controller.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
