Touch Sensor Inspection

NOTE:

The integrity of the touch sensor cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the touch sensor, perform the following procedure.

Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
Perform the DTC inspection for the BCM. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
- If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
- (See DTC TABLE [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) (US)] .)
- If DTCs are not detected, go to the next step.
Select the following PID and simulation items using the M-MDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION .) (See SIMULATION INSPECTION .)
- TOUCH_SEN_LCK_L/F
- TOUCH_SEN_ULCK_L/F
- TOUCH_SEN_LCK_R/F
- TOUCH_SEN_ULCK_R/F
Turn the simulation item on.

Touch the touch sensor and verify that the PID values change as follows.
