Front Buckle Switch
WARNING:
- Handling the front seat (with side air bag module) improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the air bag system service warnings and cautions before handling the front seat (with side air bag module). - Switch the ignition off.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the front buckle connector. (See FRONT BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Inspect for continuity between the buckle switch terminals using a tester.
- If not as indicated in the table, replace the front buckle. (See FRONT BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
