Hood Latch Switch Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)] .)
2. Disconnect the hood latch switch connector. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

NOTE:

• Inspect the continuity when the hood is open and closed.

• If the operation as indicated in the table cannot be verified, replace the hood latch. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
