Various electronic components are used in vehicles. In order to protect these parts from overcurrent generated during welding, the following must be strictly observed.
Switch the ignition OFF.
Before welding, be sure to disconnect the positive and negative terminals of the battery.

Connect the welding ground securely near the welding area.

Cover the parts surrounding the welding area during welding and be very careful of weld spatter.
