Touch Sensor Inspection: Notes
NOTE:
- The integrity of the touch sensor cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the touch sensor, perform the following procedure.
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Perform the DTC inspection for the BCM. (Refer to
DTC INSPECTION
in the troubleshooting information)
- If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to [DTC TABLE [BCM] ] in the troubleshooting information)
- If DTCs are not detected, go to the next step.
- Select the following PID and simulation items using the M-MDS. (Refer to [PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION
] in the troubleshooting information) (Refer to
SIMULATION INSPECTION
in the troubleshooting information)
- TOUCH_SEN_LCK_L/F
- TOUCH_SEN_ULCK_L/F
- TOUCH_SEN_LCK_R/F
- TOUCH_SEN_ULCK_R/F
- Turn the simulation item on.
- Touch the touch sensor and verify that the PID values change as follows.
