Fuel Siphoning Procedure Not Using Fuel Pump: Notes

1. Complete the "BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION". (See BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION [SKYACTIV-G (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .)
2. Verify the fuel level in the fuel gauge and siphon the fuel.

			No	Go to the next step.
2	Fuel tank level is 8/16 or more, or less than 14/16.	Courtesy of GENERAL MOTORS COMPANY	Yes	Perform the fuel siphoning procedure in the joint hose. (See Fuel siphoning procedure in joint hose .)
			No	Perform the fuel siphoning procedure in the fuel tank. (See Fuel siphoning procedure in fuel tank (2WD) .) (See Fuel siphoning procedure in fuel tank (AWD) .)
