U0428-83: (EPS) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Signal error from SAS control module
Detection condition	Error detected in signal from SAS control module via CAN communication.
Fail-safe	(See DTC TABLE [EPS] .)
Possible cause	DTCs are stored in the SAS control module. (See DTC TABLE [SAS] .) SAS control module malfunction (Refer to SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA/ISRAEL SPEC.] in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
