PID/Data Monitor Inspection
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
- Display PID EGRP_ACT and simulation item SEGRP_DSD using the M-MDS. (See PCM INSPECTION (VIN M) .)
- Verify that the PID EGRP_ACT value conforms to the simulation item SEGRP_DSD value when the EGR valve opening angle (simulation item: SEGRP_DSD) is driven using the simulation function.
- If it cannot be verified, perform the voltage inspection. (See VOLTAGE INSPECTION .)
