DTC inspection

1. Using the M-MDS, perform a DTC inspection and verify if any power liftgate control module DTCs are detected. (Refer to [DTC INSPECTION ] in the troubleshooting Service Information)

DTC is detected: 

• If DTC B200A:49 is detected, replace the power liftgate control module. (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
• If the detected DTC is other than B200A:49, inspect the possible causes of the detected DTCs starting from the top. (Refer to [DTC TABLE [BCM] ] in the troubleshooting Service Information)
  • If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the power liftgate control module. (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).

No DTC is detected 

• Perform a visual inspection. (See Visual inspection ).
