Drive Selection Switch Inspection

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the drive selection switch. (See DRIVE SELECTION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Measure the resistance between drive selection switch terminals B and C using a tester.
- If not within the specification, replace the drive selection switch. (See DRIVE SELECTION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Switch condition Resistance (ohm) SPORT switch held at on Approx. 0 OFF switch held at on Approx. 470 any switch not pressed Approx. 2, 670
- If not within the specification, replace the drive selection switch. (See DRIVE SELECTION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
