DTC Inspection

Using the M-MDS, perform a DTC inspection and verify if any body control module (BCM)-related DTCs are detected. (Refer to [DTC INSPECTION ] .)
DTC is detected
- If DTC U3000:49 or U3000:96 is detected, replace the body control module (BCM). (See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- If the detected DTC is other than U3000:49 or U3000:96, inspect for possible causes of the detected DTC starting from the top. (Refer to DTC TABLE [BCM] .)
  - If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the body control module (BCM). (See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
No DTC is detected
- Perform a visual inspection. (See VISUAL INSPECTION .)
