DTC P0107-00: Map Sensor Circuit Low Input

P0107-00: (PCM (SKYACTIV-G)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location MAP sensor circuit low input
Detection condition
  • The MAP sensor voltage is less than the standard.
Fail-safe
  • Estimates MAP using MAF sensor and engine speed.
  • Restricts the upper limit of the engine speed.
  • Inhibits the evaporative purge control.
Possible cause
  1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between MAP sensor and PCM (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  2. MAP sensor malfunction (Refer to MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] in service information.)
  3. PCM malfunction (Refer to PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
