1975-76 280 Models

  1. Disconnect EGR switchover valve and connect voltmeter to wiring harness connector. Disconnect coolant temperature switch (65°C) and ground wire. See Figure.
  2. When ignition is turned on, voltage should read battery voltage. If voltage does not exist, replace relay box. If relay box is functional, check EGR switchover valve.
